The Research Center for Chinese Science and Technology Policies and Management of Jilin University is jointly built by the Department of Science and Technology of Jilin Province and Jilin University, aiming to create a research platform on science and technology policies and management that serves the whole country. The Research Center, through Jilin University, is leading relevant research bodies in and beyond Jilin Province to carry out in-depth research on systematic adjustment of science and technology policies, overall establishment of scientific and technological innovation system, and innovation of science and technology management system in the province and nationwide, create a professional think-tank for scientific and technological work, and foster research teams in relevant fields. With the administrative model of “openness and mobility”, the Research Center invites researchers on relevant topics on and off campus to carry out research projects of the Center. In addition, every year, the Department of Science and Technology of Jilin Province entrusts the Research Center to carry out relevant research projects included in the Jilin Provincial Scientific and Technological Planning Program. The Research Center sets up special research projects or emergency projects to serve the development of scientific and technological work of Jilin Province. It is also closely cooperating with the Ministry of Science and Technology, and scientific and technological bodies in and beyond Jilin Province.
